Destiny 2 is a lot of fun even if you don’t spend a single cent on it.

Even though the free-to-play version is more of a taster for the full game, there’s enough to do that you can figure out if you like the main game loop or not. Unlock The Light Subclasses
Talk to Ikora Rey at the Tower after you finish the tutorial task and get there to learn how to unlock the three Light subclasses. The Warlock Vanguard will teach you how to use your light more effectively to attack your enemies with Void, Solar, and Arc skills. You can also buy more ways to alter and strengthen your chosen subclass with her.
You can quickly switch between the five subclasses that come with each of the three main classes. When you unlock all of these categories, Destiny 2 opens up and you can start making builds that can do damage right away.
Free Roam Activities
All Guardians can go to all destination worlds to help the people there with patrols and bounties. Gambit

Players compete in two teams of four to beat waves of enemies while also sabotaging the opposing team’s progress. It’s fast-paced and stressful, and most importantly, free-to-play players can enjoy this mode and earn valuable gear.

Crucible
Destiny 2 is mostly a PvE game, but it does have a strong and active PvP community. Under the Crucible action, led by the electric Lord Shaxx, you can fight with other Guardians. Dares Of Eternity
Dares of Eternity is a fun co-op mode for six players that came out for Bungie’s 30th anniversary. Xur, who is usually mysterious, and Starhorse, who is a time traveler, host an intergalactic game show where Guardians and aliens of all kinds take part in exciting, deadly events. You’ll move through three different places and switch between goals based on who you’re playing against.
With the number of power-ups and heavy ammo thrown at you, Dares of Eternity lets you live out your power dreams. It’s a chaotic event that also challenges fireteams in the Legend setting. You can also get stuff from Bungie’s other games as a prize, like the powerful BXR-55 Battler from Halo.
Prophecy Dungeon
Destiny 2’s dungeons are well-made and always have the right mood, mechanics, and loot. Guardians who only want to play for free can, if they are up to the task, go all the way through the Prophecy dungeon.
You’ll have to run through a dungeon that the rest of the world doesn’t know about and learn how its puzzles work while beating off hordes of Taken. Destiny 2 has some truly stellar dungeon design, and Prophecy is but one of several battles you can play.
Raiding
Destiny 2’s raiding is one of the best things you can do in video games. Raids are the most difficult part of the game, and they take a lot of skill, coordination, and communication to complete. Each raid’s complicated rules make it a unique challenge that’s so satisfying to beat—and don’t forget the amazing loot!
Guardians who don’t pay can try out two raids in the sandbox: the famous King’s Fall raid and the first raid, Vault of Glass. The catch is that you’ll need a high light level before you can join a raid, since even regular red bar enemies will hurt your health.
